You’ll visit the mangroves for kayaking and then the forest at night to see endemic wildlife. Kayak through the romantic mangroves at sunset. Then move into the forest and encounter rare wildlife like the Amami rabbit.

①Nagahama Minato Park … If arriving from Naze, Tatsugo, Kasari, or Yamato
②Mangrove Park … If arriving from Setouchi, Uken

Transfer to the Sumiyo Mangrove kayak starting point by guide’s car
Kayaking: approx. 2km
Duration: 1.5~2hours
Enjoy kayaking until sunset. Depending on the tide level, you may paddle through mangrove tunnels or explore the tidal flats on foot.
Dinner with local ingredients
First option: Dinner at a local restaurant
Second option: Local-ingredient Bento
We prioritize dining at the restaurant whenever possible. However, if the restaurant is closed or in the case of a large group, a bento meal will be arranged instead.

It is conducted in rainy weather. However, if heavy rain or various warnings are issued, we will assess the situation and there may be cases where it is canceled.
Yes, they can ride. If they are unable to paddle on their own, they can ride tandem with an adult.
No, we will not walk. It is safe to observe wildlife from inside the car. When we find calm wildlife like frogs, we can get out of the car to observe them.
